A premier developmental hub where students in grades 6–8 discover, develop, and showcase the creative depth and personal voice that top institutions increasingly demand.
Top universities and prestigious secondary schools have shifted their focus beyond traditional academic metrics. The Geneva Creative Arts Institute gives students in Grades 6–8 the time, mentorship, and structure to build a distinct creative voice — before the competition has even started.
Spanning theater, filmmaking, visual arts, and design, our comprehensive curriculum is guided by professional mentors who help students translate abstract ideas into tangible, impactful creative work. Central to everything is a strategic portfolio, meticulously built to stand out in even the most rigorous admissions contexts.
Students from all artistic backgrounds are welcome — whether a complete beginner or an emerging talent, every student leaves with a comprehensive body of work that reflects both raw ability and growing artistic maturity.
Students develop stage presence, voice projection, script interpretation, and the collaborative skills central to ensemble performance.
Students learn the full filmmaking process — from concept and script through to shooting, directing, and editing a final cut.
Covering drawing, painting, and mixed media, students develop technical skills alongside a personal and recognisable artistic style.
Students explore graphic design, layout, and visual communication — learning how design shapes the way ideas are received.
Students learn to see the world through a lens — composition, light, and visual storytelling that translates directly into a professional portfolio.
From performance to original composition, students develop musical voice and technical skill — building a body of work that demonstrates creative depth and discipline.
Every discipline is supported by two program-wide pillars that ensure students leave with more than just skills — they leave with a body of work and the guidance to use it.
Every session culminates in portfolio work — a curated body of creative output that grows stronger with each term, ready for admissions.
Students receive direct, ongoing feedback from professional instructors who understand what admissions committees are looking for.
Competitive admissions offices are not looking for students who say they are creative. They are looking for students who can prove it — with a portfolio that demonstrates range, commitment, and a distinctive point of view.
The Geneva Creative Arts Institute gives students the time, mentorship, and structure to build exactly that. Across six disciplines, students do not just learn techniques — they develop a creative identity that is entirely their own.
Students naturally drawn to making things — stories, images, performances — who want a structured environment to develop and deepen that impulse.
Students preparing for selective secondary schools or universities who need a creative portfolio that genuinely stands out in a competitive applicant pool.
Students who do not want to be boxed into a single art form and want to explore theater, film, visual arts, and design before deciding where they shine.

A Geneva Creative Arts Intensive
Over two intensive weeks, students step into the world of book design — learning to translate narrative into image through the hands of a working artist. Moving across graphic design and painting, students develop the visual instincts of a designer while completing up to three distinct designs: the cover and illustrations for their own written work.
